JOSHUA C. ANDERSON

Joshua is a native of St. Louis, Missouri (USA). Joshua graduated from the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Health Education with additional studies in School Health Education and Physical Education. He has outstanding experience in health education, youth development, and social work.

Joshua grew up in church as a "PK" (preacher's kid). He developed a true relationship with God when he became a young adult. In light of Joshua’s spiritual life, he is a firm believer in the Lord his God Jesus Christ. Joshua received the baptism of the Holy Ghost for the first time on January 27, 2007, and he was also water-baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on May 27, 2007.


Since Joshua was nine years of age, he received professional training in the following types of dance: Hip-Hop/urban, West African, jazz, lyrical, modern, liturgical, creative, and prophetic. In Joshua's early twenties, he received professional training in pantomime (also known as mime). Joshua has performed in numerous dance, mime, and even drama presentations from local to international. Joshua has traveled around USA as a dancer with Eddie James Ministries (spearheaded by renowned Gospel music artist Eddie James). Joshua has been on four mission trips to the nation of Costa Rica to teach mime and dance at the Jubilee Institute (Instituto Jubileo) during the years 2011, 2013, 2016, and 2017. He also facilitated a mime class during a virtual international dance conference spearheaded by that same ministry during the global pandemic in the year 2020. Joshua has also traveled on two mission trips to the nation of Dominican Republic to teach mime and dance at the IAR Hogar De Alabanza in April 2018 and in April 2024.


Joshua is the Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Take Action St. Louis.  Take Action St. Louis is a non-profit organization on a mission to embrace, educate, and enrich youth and young adults to become positive leaders while engaging in the community. The three components of the organization are, as follows: community engagement, creative arts, and youth development. More information about the organization is at www.TakeActionStLouis.org.

Joshua is a freelance photographer. He enjoys capturing moments especially as he travels.

Joshua has been described as happy, fun, friendly, free, authentic, and anointed. Joshua believes that active and healthy relationships is an essential value to have in life. With a fiery passion for God and a genuine love for people, Joshua takes joy in sharing his gifts and talents; he continues to make an impact in the lives of many people as he blazes trails and help lead more people toward personal optimism and movement in God-given purpose.
